Kindergarten used crayon, watercolor paint and coffee filters to create Monet's Garden.
In the spirit of all this cold weather the Kindergarten class made mittens! They used tempera paint to create patterns in the primary colors. They needed three types of lines repeating in the 3 primary colors; red, blue, yellow.
Kindergarten learned about Wassley Kandinsky and abstract art. They then made their own circles that were inspired by Kandinsky. These are displayed together to resemble Kandinsky's circles.
In the spirit of Christmas we made mangers out of hands. The kindergarten class needed to practice tracing and cutting out their hand then add straw for a bed for Jesus. We then added Jesus to our soft mangers.
Van Gogh's Sunflowers
Kindergarten were introduced to Van Gogh this week. They learned who he is and what he painted. They are working on sunflower paintings that are inspired by Van Gogh's Sunflowers.
