Please carefully read the below post as it contains important information regarding the Rake A Thon AND important details for next week's festivities.
Rake A Thon - Saturday, October 8th
We look forward to seeing you at the Rake A Thon, our all school service project and biggest fundraiser of the year!
Please remember, each child is expected to return an individual goal of $150.
All proceeds go to the Mr. J Scholarship Fund! This scholarship fund keeps our Catholic school tuition low and affordable for ALL families.
Turn in your RSVP forms and individual family pledges as soon as possible. We need 100% involvement from each family to ensure the Rake A Thon is an all school success!

We celebrate All Saints Day on Wednesday, November 1st!
Our school will attend 8am mass this day, please dress in your uniform. Parents, you may consider joining us for mass as well!
I ask each family to complete the below saint project with their kindergartener by completing the steps below.

Here is what you need to know for the big day:
- Join us for 8am mass at Saint Raphael Catholic Church
- Immediately following mass, check in for yard assignments at the tables located outside of the school office.
- Meet us by the baseball fields for a group photo and blessing from Father Hagen.
- Head out to our designated yard assignments (each family is organized into a large group of families (about 20 people in each group). We usually are assigned two houses per group.

- Join us for lunch in the cafeteria following yard assignments!
Here is what to bring:
- Wear your rake - a - thon t-shirt!
- Bring rakes, gloves, leaf blower (if you have one), leaf bags are provided
- Dress warm - We will be raking yards rain or shine!

Tuesday,October 31st - Fall Celebration
- Kindergarten is invited to wear black and orange to school on Tuesday in celebration of the Fall Harvest.
- Kindergarten will NOT bring Halloween costumes to school.
- Kindergarten WILL put on a poetry parade where we will walk to different classrooms and recite our favorite poem, Chicka Chicka, Boom Boom.
- Kindergarten has created our own coconut costumes as part of our presentation - please look forward to pictures next week!
- Kindergarten will celebrate the Fall Harvest by making Fruit Salad and playing a few rounds of BINGO in our classroom following the parade.
