Dear Kindergarten Families,
We have been very busy in kindergaren!
Highlights include:
*Saint of the Week: Saint Francis of Asisi, Feast Day: October 4th
-He is the patron saint of animals
-He demonstrated the virtue of courtesy
*Math and literacy: Mastering writing numbers and letters within lined paper, correct direction and order
-We reference each line as: Mr. Top, Mrs. Dash, Baby Bottom, and Grandma Dot
* We completed our NWEA (state testing in reading and math)
-NWEA testing takes place fall, winter, and spring to measure individual growth of each child! I look forward to sharing results during conferences!
